Funding
The grant award is for up to a maximum of £45,000 which consists of £40,000 to cover development, production, and touring costs (including mainland travel) and £5,000 performance fees (the equivalent of 10 x £500 performance fees per show).
Marketing costs of shows in receipt of grant awards including printing and distribution under a North of Scotland Branding will be covered directly by the Fund.
The Fund will offer assistance toward the costs of ferry fares to and from the Western Isles.
Net receipts from each performance will be split 50/50 between the promoter and the NSTF Fund. NSTF may use its share to assist one or more selected performances to be mounted at a Festival or event in Scotland to showcase the scheme.
